For more than 15 years as a top executive for one of the premier hotel companies in the Northwest, Kurt Metzger increased his knowledge in the real estate market and fine-tuned his negotiating skills as the Vice President of Operations and Development.  In addition to over-seeing the daily operations, personnel and customer service issues of more than 35 properties, Kurt focused on property renovations and the acquisition of new profitable opportunities.  Soon he began advising the company on potential real estate investment ventures and was a key leader in the company expansion efforts.

Kurt has significant experience in hotel openings from staff training, design concepts, staffing and profitability in more than eight states and Canada.  His leadership experience includes a wide array of properties including resorts, four-diamond, four star hotels and independent properties.  His franchise background involves most major brands including Holiday Inn, Radisson, Best Western, Sheraton and Hilton.

Changing his focus to residential, condominium and investment properties, Kurt realized he could use his vast knowledge of commercial real estate, combined with his quest to provide top notch customer service to exceed his client’s expectations.

The past 7 years, Kurt has consistently been the top producer in the residential and condominium market for Windermere Real Estate Wall St. and has built a solid business based solely on referrals.  Much of his business is generated through investors and he is currently working with a wide range of investors with property volumes ranging from 4- 18 properties per year.  Kurt’s dedication to his client’s needs and assistance in property renovations from the initial purchase through the design concept, product and finish selections, marketing and sale of the property is unsurpassed.

Kurt has a dedicated marketing assistant on his team to help create first class marketing materials and to insure all client expectations are met or exceeded.  He also has a dedicated licensed agent assistant that helps to insure client transactions are processed and followed up with in a timely manner and all client’s needs and wants are met.  This allows Kurt to continue working directly with clients to better accomplish their customer satisfaction and overall housing and business needs.

Kurt’s hobbies include sports, boating outdoor activities, interior design and working with his hands. He is actively involved in a variety of community events and efforts.

Joe Hunt, LAA

As a dedicated licensed agent assistant to Kurt Metzger, Joe Hunt has been assisting Kurt with a variety of marketing and administrative duties for the past 7 years, and has since become a licensed agent working full-time to support Kurt and his clients.

Prior to real estate, Joe has been in the project and meeting management industry for the past 15 years, most recently with Expedia, Inc. as Director of Corporate Event Management. Whether it was handling a corporate tradeshow for 10,000 or planning the perfect VIP dinner for heads of state, Joe used stellar organization and planning to meet and exceed the customer's expectation.

As a project manager, Joe honed his skills by understanding the entire process then working toward the end result.  Through attention to detail and surrounding himself with best possible resources, Joe successfully managed projects and events for Microsoft, IBM, Intel, Hewlett-Packard, Eastman Kodak, and other industry giants.

As Kurt's dedicated assistant, Joe's main focus will be to manage the transaction once the paperwork is finalized.  He will work with our team of title and escrow professionals to ensure that each phase of your closing is handled smoothly and on time.

On the marketing side, Joe's main priority is to effectively list your home so it sells.  He works with Kurt to stage the home and prepare all the marketing literature distributed to the public and industry agents.  Joe also manages and updates the website.

In addition to Joe's vast project management expertise, he also has a background in banking where he worked through the ranks at a Phoenix bank up to the title of Branch Manager.
